Non-match/feud RPs, method to my editing madness
I wanted to make this post because I wanted to head off any future controversy or complaints regarding RPs that are not match specific as well as if anyone ever takes offense to the changes I make to the look and layout of RPs within the context of the show.
First, my three rules of RP editing:
1. I will not change the content and message of the RP. This means I will leave the point you're trying to get across in the RP intact. However, I reserve the right to change the way in which this point is reached if the original RP is offensive or the way in which you get to the point doesn't make any sense. Sometimes I need to merge separate RPs that deal with the same topic or match.
2. Heels are in Red and red-like colors. Faces are in blue and blue-like colors. Interviewers are in green. Non-speaking parts are italicized. White colored periods go in between paragraphs. No quotation marks.
3. No third, it just sounds better to have three rules. I might add a third one later though.
Second, my rules on RP inclusion to shows.
1. RP segments that deal directly with a match on that night are included.
2. RP segments that further a feud, even if there isn't a match between those groups/people on that night will get included.
3. Announcements by the GM/VGM will be included.
4. All RPs that are still open at Midnight TWG-time on the day of the show will not be included, even if they deal with #1 and #2. This is because half an RP isn't really an RP. However, if I look at an RP and it looks like it could stand alone, I will consider it DONE and include it.
5. All RPs that don't deal with #1 or #2 and that are DONE will be considered for the show but might not make it in. I try and accommodate people as best as possible but if there are a lot of good RP segments then I am going to have to pick and choose.
And that's it for now. Thank you for your time.
